Our basket of 54 TCL TV size variants cost 0.09% more in the latest reading (16 Oct, 12:00 UTC) than in the first (15 Oct, 17:08 UTC). 33 of 54 listed TCL TVs were in stock, and 20 of those were selling 30% or more below their own "was" price. This is the October baseline. November's reading will show whether Black Friday prices really go lower.

How is the index calculated?
Fixed basket of every TCL TV size variant listed at TCL's US store in the base reading. Index = sum of current listed prices of basket variants still listed, divided by their sum in the base reading, times 100. Size medians use in-stock TCL TVs only. Prices are TCL's own US store prices. Retailers may charge less. A variant that leaves the store is dropped from both sides of the comparison, so the index is not distorted by it.
