Common questions
Why price per day?
A $300 coat worn 100 days costs $3 a day. Worn three times it costs $100 a day. The same sticker price feels different once you spread it over real use.
Should I count days I own it or days I use it?
Use days of actual use when you can. Ownership days are a fallback when you only know how long you kept it.
What about resale?
Lower the price by what you expect to recover when you sell, then run the calculator again.
