The short answer
Over three years of daily use, the Roborock Q7 M5+ is the cheapest of these three at about $617.15 (purchase plus parts). The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow lands around $1,075.92 and the Saros 10R around $1,258.52. Parts run about $105 to $125 a year on our assumptions. Pay more only for mopping you will actually use or obstacle avoidance you need.

Which tier fits
- Q7 M5+ if you mainly want floors vacuumed every day. The pad mop is light dust only. Lowest three-year cost here.
- Qrevo Curv 2 Flow if you want mopping done without rinsing pads by hand. You pay about $459 more over three years than the Q7 M5+ on these figures.
- Saros 10R if cables, toys and pet clutter regularly stop simpler robots. Obstacle avoidance does not remove the need to clear the floor first.
Suction figures in pascals are manufacturer claims. Navigation type, brush design and whether the dock empties itself usually matter more day to day. See also our robot vacuum buying guide.

Common questions
What is robot vacuum true cost?
The sticker price plus what you will spend on bags, filters, brushes and mop parts over the years you keep it. A $300 robot with cheap, easy-to-find bags can cost less over three years than a $900 robot with pricier wear parts.
How did you estimate yearly parts cost?
Dock bags use Roborock’s “up to 7 weeks” claim, about 7.4 bags a year. Filters, brushes and mop parts use the pack rates listed in the table. Change the packs-per-year figure in the calculator if you clean more or less often.
Is higher suction (Pa) worth more money?
Not by itself. Manufacturers measure suction differently, and brush design, navigation and floor type matter as much. Treat Pa as a maker claim, not a cleaning score.
Bagless or bags?
These three Roborock docks use bags. Bagless bins need emptying more often. Bags cost money but cut how often you handle dust. Price the bags before you buy the robot.
