The short answer

Bludiode is a real, registered company, and many customers do get their phones. It is also a high-risk way to buy: on Trustpilot 33% of 1,223 reviews are 1-star, and the most common complaints are months-long waits and slow refunds. Buy only with a credit card or another payment method you can dispute, and expect import fees and a China software version.

Who runs Bludiode?

Bludiode.com says it is run by two affiliated companies with the same name, Bludiode’s European Transactions:

UK company Irish company
Company number 12457526 753231
Status Active, incorporated 12 February 2020 (Companies House) As stated on Bludiode’s About page. We did not check the Irish register.
Registered address 15 Hanover Square, London W1S 1HS (Companies House, 16 Oct 2026) Lucan, Dublin (per Bludiode)
Business type (SIC) Wholesale and retail of phones and electronics, including online sales Not checked

Bludiode’s own pages list more than one London address: its terms also give 207 Regent Street, while Companies House lists 15 Hanover Square. A complaints site lists a third address. Address changes are common for small UK companies, but they make the company harder to pin down.

How does Bludiode work?

It sells phones and tablets, mostly Chinese models that are hard to buy in Europe or the US. In replies to reviews, Bludiode says it ships “direct imports” from suppliers in China through a Hong Kong hub. It says this makes prices “generally 20 to 30% lower” than local retail, with longer lead times. That is Bludiode’s claim; we did not compare prices.

Two things follow from that model:

  • Your order may not be in stock. Several reviews describe orders that waited weeks at “en route to our Hong Kong hub for repacking” with no tracking number.
  • The software may be the China version. Reviewers report China ROMs with limited languages. Bludiode’s replies confirm a China ROM and a global ROM are different.

What do reviews say?

Site Score What it is based on
Trustpilot 3.3 out of 5 from 1,223 reviews (94 in the last 12 months) 38% 5-star, 33% 1-star. The profile is labelled “abandoned profile”. Bludiode says on it that it does not monitor the page because of fake reviews, yet it replies to many of them.
Portal da Queixa (Portugal) 12 out of 100 Complaints about undelivered phones and refunds, 2022 to 2026
ScamDoc 35% trust score An automated score. Points to an old domain (2014), hidden Whois owner and negative reviews

Reviews split sharply. Happy buyers mention good prices and phones arriving sealed and new. Unhappy buyers report:

  • orders waiting one to three months, often past the promised date;
  • orders cancelled after weeks because the supplier price changed;
  • refunds taking weeks or months, or offered as store credit first;
  • a reviewer who says their card issuer refunded them after a dispute;
  • import duty to pay on delivery.

Bludiode replies to many complaints, often disputing the reviewer’s account.

What does the return policy say?

From Bludiode’s refunds policy:

  • You have 14 days from delivery to start a return, through your account.
  • You pay return shipping, and the refund is reduced by a $59.99 restocking fee, plus any import taxes that cannot be recovered and transaction fees.
  • Unsealed foldable phones and smartwatches cannot be returned. Headphones cannot be returned.
  • Once an order is handed to the supplier, Bludiode may refuse to cancel it.
  • If you refuse delivery, you pay the cost of shipping it back.
  • Refunds after a warranty claim are only possible if the device cannot be repaired, and may come as store credit.

Should you buy from Bludiode?

Only if the phone is not sold where you live and you can wait. To limit the risk:

  1. Pay with a credit card or PayPal, so you can dispute the charge. Avoid bank transfer.
  2. Check the software version on the listing (China ROM or global).
  3. Add import duty and VAT to the price before you compare it with local shops.
  4. Read the cancellation rules before paying: once the order goes to the supplier, you may not be able to cancel.
  5. Keep every email and the promised delivery date.

If the same phone is sold locally or by a marketplace with buyer protection, the extra cost buys you a much simpler return.

FAQ

Is Bludiode a scam?

We found no evidence it is a fake shop. It is an active UK company (number 12457526) and many buyers report receiving their phones. Many others report long delays and slow refunds, so treat it as a high-risk import seller.

How long does Bludiode take to deliver?

Bludiode says its direct imports from China have longer lead times than local shops. Reviewers often report 1 to 3 months, and some report orders that never shipped.

Can I return a phone to Bludiode?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery if it is unused, but you pay the return shipping and a $59.99 restocking fee, and lose any unrecoverable import taxes. Unsealed foldables and smartwatches cannot be returned, and headphones cannot be returned at all.

Do Bludiode phones have a global ROM?

Not always. Several reviewers received China ROM versions with limited languages. Bludiode's own replies say a China ROM and a global ROM are not the same. Check the listing for the software version before you pay.
