Common questions
Which exercise bike has the highest weight limit here?
Yosuda (FED Fitness) EB3, rated to 400 lb by its maker. Next come the 5 bikes at 350 lb: Concept2 BikeErg, NordicTrack Commercial S22i, Sole LCB, Sole LCR, Sunny Health & Fitness SF-RB424002.
Is the Peloton Bike rated for 300 lb?
No. Peloton gives a weight maximum of 297 lb for both the Cross Training Bike and the Bike+, with a rider height range of 4'11" to 6'5". A 300 lb rider is over the stated limit on either.
Are the Schwinn IC3 and IC4 the same bike?
Not for weight. Schwinn lists the same 54.6 x 30.7 inch footprint for both, but rates the IC3 to 300 lb and the IC4 to 330 lb. BowFlex lists its C6 with the same dimensions, product weight and 330 lb limit as the IC4.
Where do I find a bike's weight limit?
On the maker's spec section or manual, usually as maximum user weight or weight capacity. Use that figure rather than a marketplace listing, and check it again on the exact model you order, because a cheaper sibling can carry a lower rating.
Method
- Bikes. Current home exercise bikes whose maker states a maximum user weight on a page we could read, one page at a time, on 18 October 2026: Yosuda (FED Fitness), Concept2, NordicTrack, Sole, Sunny Health & Fitness, BowFlex, Rogue, Schwinn, Echelon, Peloton, Marcy.
- Limits. Copied as stated. Pounds are the maker's figure; kilograms are shown only where the maker states them, never converted by us.
- Rider fit and size. Height range, inseam or seat height as each maker gives it. Dimensions are used only where labeled; Sole lists the same 56 x 29 x 60 in for an upright and two recumbents, so we left Sole's sizes empty.
- The check. A bike is listed if its stated limit is at or above your weight. Headroom is the limit minus your weight. The optional floor check compares the maker's length and width with yours (16 of 19 bikes have both). We add no safety margin of our own.
- Not covered. Seat comfort, step-over height, ride feel, durability and price. We did not ride or load-test any bike.
