Do you need a compact speaker or longer battery?
The Flip 7 is the one that fits a bag without a second thought. The Charge 6 is worth the extra bulk when you are out all day or want to top up a phone. Playtime Boost figures are a separate mode: compare the normal rating first.
Does floating matter?
Only beside a pool or on water. Bose and Ultimate Ears design these models to float. An IP68 or IP67 rating alone does not mean a speaker floats. Follow each model’s care instructions and dry the connector before charging.
How do you make the final choice?
Write down how long you usually listen between charges, whether you need a power bank, and the largest speaker you will carry. Compare current prices only after those requirements are clear.
