Will a robot vacuum fit under my sofa?
Enter the gap under your sofa or bed in cm or inches and see which robot vacuums fit, using heights published by the makers.
Heights come from each maker's own product page. We have not measured the robots. How we research · How links work
The short answer
Measure the lowest point under the sofa, in the middle and with the rug in place, then subtract 10 mm. Any robot shorter than that fits. Under about 80 mm (3.1 in), only the eufy 11S MAX (72.4 mm) and, with its sensor lowered, the Roborock Saros 10R (79.8 mm) fit in our table. Most LiDAR robots need 96 to 119 mm. The eufy 11S MAX is an older bump-navigation model and is discontinued at some stores.

How to measure
- Measure in the middle of the sofa, where it sags most, not at the front edge.
- Leave the rug in place. Thick pile takes height away.
- Check crossbars and feet further back. The lowest point anywhere is your gap.

Common questions
How much clearance does a robot vacuum need?
Its listed height plus a small margin. We default to 10 mm because sofas sag in the middle and robots tilt up when they climb a rug edge.
What is the slimmest robot vacuum in our table?
The eufy RoboVac 11S MAX at 72.4 mm (2.85 in), per eufy. It has no LiDAR and uses bump navigation. The slimmest mapping model is the Roborock Saros 10R at 79.8 mm with its sensor lowered.
Why do you use 93.5 mm for the Saros 10R?
Roborock lists 79.8 mm with the laser sensor retracted and 93.5 mm with it raised. The robot lowers it only when it detects a low edge, so we treat 93.5 mm as a sure fit and 79.8 mm as a fit that depends on the sensor.
